Health Navigators Trained. Thousands of Lives Impacted.

Over the past five years, Phalarope has trained 201 Intercultural Health Navigators: 9 healthcare promoters, 174 traditional midwives and 18 traditional healers, across 62 communities in two countries. Through this initiative, traditional birth attendants have gained the skills to provide quality prenatal care, identify high-risk pregnancies, and ensure timely referrals, contributing to a measurable reduction in maternal mortality.
